336 Relaxer is a kinetic sculpture that tells the passage of time by utilising an open-source electronic prototyping device called Arduino. The project itself was an exploration of the meaningful interaction between human and objects. 336 Relaxer introduces an interactive approach that changes breathing meditation into a tactile experience. The idea is to capture the notion of time
passing in the more holistic approach. Most people have difficulty sparing their time to slow down and take a breather. This device comes in as an accessible tool to quickly use during the one’s spare time, a tool that guides one’s breathing in a basic breathing pattern technique 3-3-6. 3 second inhale, 3 second pause, and 6 second exhale.
